Ghanaian student graduates with GPA of 4.0 from State University

Ernest Aboagye Forson was adjudged winner of the 2017 Statistical Project competition, which came with a $2,500 cash reward At the Illinois State University.

A Ghanaian student at the Illinois State University has graduated with a GPA of 4.0 in his programme of study.

Ernest Aboagye Forson has completed a 2-year Masters programme in Mathematics with a sequence in actuarial science.

This is not the first time he is graduating top of his class.

In 2014, he graduated as the overall best student with a GPA of 3.92 from the University of Cape Coast. He was also awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science.

Ernest Aboagye Forson started education at Borkor and then to New Gbawe Experimental School D/A both in New Gbawe in the Greater Accra region.

When he wrote his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), he scored 8 out of 9 ones.

He then went to Accra Academy to study Business. After completion he went to the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

At the Illinois State University he was also adjudged winner of the 2017 Statistical Project competition, which came with a $2,500 cash reward.
