"I last wore a panty 7 years ago" - actress reveals

According to Blanche Worae aka Baby Blanche, her decision to let go of her panty is purely based on medical reasons and thinks every lady should practice the same.

She made the revelation during her"Operation Remove Your Dross" campaign launch on Saturday, September 9 at a press conference held in Accra.

Speaking at the short ceremony to outdoor the Blanch Foundation’s "Operation Remove Your Dross" crusade, the actress disclosed that the vagina is a sensitive part of the body, which needs a breathing space, but ladies deprive it of this chance hence the campaign.

“Physicians aver that the female genital needs to breath to maintain its PH levels to prevent fungi and odour. In that connection, professional medics in the health fraternity advice going bare below when it is bedtime and at the close of the day for unbridled passage of air to that vital area.

A family Physician Dr Grace Obon, is of the view that women wear variety of panties and tight outfits that hardly allow their private parts to breath. Experts at Women’s health.gov say the vargina normally has a balance of ‘good’ and ‘fewer’ harmful bacteria. However, a condition called bacteria Vaginosis develops when the balance changes.”

According to her, research has proven that most ladies get infections after wearing panties and tight undies for years.

“Obon says women with bacteria vaginosis may have an abnormal vaginal discharge with an unpleasant odour while some women may complain of a strong fish like odour especially after sex. Other symptoms may include burning when urinating, itching around outside of the virgina etc.

Medicine plus, also notes that too much moist in the female genital area can lead to vaginal yeast infection, most commonly due to the fungus candida albicans which can be detrimental to the hygienic sustenance of the female genital area.”

Baby Blanche further  revealed that she has been pantless for the past seven years, which has saved her from attaining diseases.

“As an advocate of going pantieless, have lived in the last seven years without panties and have never incurred the wrath of the bacterium at my vital area in relation to any infection. I join the online physician Dr Mehmet Oz, who counsels it is time to go natural because we don’t want down there to get moist.

In conclusion, based on experts research and my own experience as well as colleague compatriots have come to realized that , I Blanche Worae ( Baby Blanche) and my foundation can say on authority without fear a lady without panties can leave a healthier life. So am entreating all Ghanaian ladies to join me in going pantiless for healthy life.”
