“I worked as a doorman in London” - actor

Chris Attoh has admitted that years past he was a doorman in Wood Green, North London.

Narrating the story on StarrChat on Wednesday, the “Tinsel” star said he has always been down to earth and referenced a commendation he once received from his employer during his days as a doorman.

“I used to work as a doorman this was in Wood Green in North London and my boss his name was Colin. I don’t know why but he said since I started working at the door the clientele whisper 'ohh that guy at the door is doing well'.”

“After the night had ended in London, after the work he (Colin) came up to me and with a Jamaican accent he said 'Chrissy, listen, mate, this thing you got can take you far so you remain humble and I see that in you and it will take you as far you go'. So I want people to know humility pays.” he recounted.

Chris Attoh is now an accomplished actor with so many movies to his credit and with almost fifteen years of experience in Television/Producing as well as on-stage and off-stage, Event hosting.

His passion for showbiz led him to work in radio and soon his talents opened the door to become a television broadcaster. He has hosted a number of major broadcasting platforms including Viasat One TV, G.T.V, Metro TV, and Gh One among others.
