Irina Shayk Says She felt Ugly Beside Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his model girlfriend Irina Shayk broke off their 4-years-old relationship earlier this year and according to the footballer they both mutually agreed to go their separate ways after some misunderstandings.

The model has however opened up about the issue saying she was the one who decided to leave the player because he made her feel “ugly” and “insecure” and he was acting like a “child”.

“I thought that I had the perfect man, but no… I think a woman feels ugly when she has the wrong man. I felt ugly and insecure beside him, she said in an interview with the Spanish edition of Hello Magazine.

The 29-year-old also stated that Ronaldo did not respect her and made her feel unhappy in their relationship: “I want a faithful, honest man; a gentleman who knows how to respect women. I do not believe in men that make us fall and be unhappy. That is not the behavior of a man, but a child”.

She explained that if one is in a relationship it has to feel good and both partners must be able to understand each other and walk in the same directions but it was not so with her relationship with the superstar so she decided to leave.

“If you’re in a relationship, it should be good. Otherwise, it’s best to leave. “Relationships are hard so one has to be clear about what kind of man you want beside you and what your values are; what is important in your life”, she said.

“If you stay with someone, one must walk in the same direction and look at things the same. Both must share the same concept of what a relationship means and both must believe in a monogamous relationship”, she added.

Speaking on how she feels about the break up now she said, “I feel positive and strong”
