She made this statement during an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM in Accra.

Responding to the use of ‘weed’ and supposed diss to MzVee in her comeback song called “Sankwas”, the Xtra Large Music record label artiste said her competitors claimed the 'Dancehall Queen' title and dissed her in her absence to grab attention just like what Shatta Wale did.

“Everyone feels because Shatta Wale recorded a diss song for me after the VGMAs and had the attention, everyone wants to mention my name…,” she said.

“No one owns ‘Dancehall Queen’ crown in Ghana. So, why will my competitors compose songs to jab me indirectly?” Kaakie questioned.

Aside causing a commotion at the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards after losing out the “Reggae/Dancehall Song of The Year" nod to Kaakie, Shatta Wale took to his social media pages to rain insults on her and subsequently released diss songs for her.
