Artiste manager says Ghanaians should stop comparing artistes

He was reacting to the recent lyrical feud between competing artistes which has generated much talk across the country, especially on several media platforms, the former manager of Becca explained that every artist’s talent is unique.

In an interview with George Quaye on GH One TV, Benson said, "For me, I find it unnecessary (to compare artistes). I always say that there aren’t two artists in this world that are the same. You cannot compare artistes."

“So as soon as you start comparing artists, for me, I start questioning your understanding of even what you’re doing,” he added.

Kiki Banson went on to say "You cannot be better than the next art because it is a different game altogether. Talents are not the same. You cannot compare yourself to another if you understand what art is all about."

Kiki Banson is an experienced Ghanaian artiste manager and boss of EKB Records.
