Shaida Buari Nubi; Former Miss Ghana winner to team up with Anas to expose ‘sex-for-favour’ men

The Miss Ghana 2002 winner said the sex-for-favour phenomenon has become prevalent in all sectors, insisting it’s high time something is done about it.

Speaking on Queens Arena, on Angel TV on Saturday, Shaida, who is the sister of star actress Nadia Buari, said she has been a victim such ill advances many times.

According to her, it took her strong personality and the grace of God for her to pull through without succumbing to the demands of these unscrupulous men.

Explaining further, she said the act of men demanding sex from ladies before helping them as gone as far as the oil and gas industry, where she currently works.

“I came across a lot of men who said if you want to get sponsored, let me sleep with you. The sex-for-favour phenomenon abounds. Till today, even within the oil and gas industry [where I work] it’s prevalent,” Shaida said.

“It all boils down to morality. Thankfully, I can beat my chest that I never allowed myself to be used by any man. No man had sex with me in the name of Miss Ghana,” she added.

Her plans to team up with Anas are, therefore, aimed at uncovering the men who usually engage in such untoward acts.
