Dancehall artists says he wanted to be in the military but...

Stonebwoy revealed in an interview on "Hanging Out with KOD" that, his dream was to become a military man but that dream was crushed due to his accident.

 

Over the weekend, VGMAs 2015 artiste of the year, Stonebwoy made an appearance on GHOne TV’s hanging out with KOD show where he talked about how it all started for him, his journey so far, his fatal accident and more.

When asked by KOD, the host of the show, if becoming a dancehall artists was a dream from childhood, he stated that, his dream was rather to be in the military but that dream crushed when he his unfortunate accident happened.

“I wanted to be a military man; more or less take over from my dad, but my accident which was extremely fatal dashed my big dream, now I can’t even run and do a whole lot of stuffs anymore.”

Describing the degree of his accident,  the “Baafira” hitmaker said;  “It was very fatal, very complex. Lots of people still think I was born with it, but truth be told, I wasn’t born like this, I was around 15 years old when the sad incident occurred.”

When he was asked whether him being humble and respectful is just to keep up appearances or that’s his real self, he responded, “What do I gain from being a rude person? Absolutely nothing so I just have to be calm, choose the proper approach to deal with stuffs, and do what’s right and expected of me.”

On what motivates and inspires him in life, he disclosed that he gets his inspiration from life, society and everything around him.
