NBC cancels TV series

NBC cancels 'Constantine', 'State of Affairs' amongst other TV shows.

Constantine cancelled by NBC

'State of Affairs', Constantine, Marry Me and One Big Happy have been cancelled by NBC.

Several months ago, NBC declined to order more episodes for the show, which could only mean a cancellation.

Finally, NBC has decided to not move forward with the John Constantine series.

According to the Executive producer, Daniel Cerone, Warner Bros is working hard to find a new home for its new series.

NBC's cancellation of Constantine makes it the only broadcast network without a comic book property.

Also cancelled is the much talked about State of Affairs which features Grey's Anatomy alum, Katherine Heigl, opened to 8.6 million total viewers and ended with 4.5 million viewers and a cliffhanger.

'Marry Me', kicked off on a good start, but ended up failing to keep up as it averaged a 1.5 rating in the demo.

Executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, 'One Big Happy' ended its short six-episode run in April with 3 million total viewers, losing half the audience from its premiere.
