Haitian heartthrob, Jimmy Jean-Louis, better known as ‘The Haitian’ from the hit TV show ‘Heroes’, has made his directorial debut with the 55-minute short documentary, ‘Jimmy Goes To Nollywood’. The documentary will screen at the 2015 Pan-African Film Festival in Los Angeles’ all-digital Rave Cinemas 15 Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza on Friday, February 6 (9:45pm); Sunday, February 8 (9:00pm); and Monday, February 16 (2:45pm),
‘Jimmy Goes to Nollywood’ shows the actors journey into Nollywood, that sees him visiting places like Ghana and Nigeria and working with some of the Africa’s biggest actors and film makers. With many placing it ahead of “Hollywood” and behind only India’s “Bollywood,” Nigeria’s “Nollywood” is the second largest film industry in the world in number of annual film productions.
