In an interview with Nkosuohene, the actor disclosed that the reason why most of the movies do not get much attention is because some of the directors keep on doing the same thing over and over again.
"Some of the movies are very good, others are 'pooley'(inferior) because some of our directors don't learn. There are sometimes you can contribute greatly on set but they will never take it. I have been a PA before and through that I have had the opportunity to be behind cameras.
Those who have little knowledge about the directing don't want to receive ideas from anyone. My movies that are best to me are Awareso and Kwaku Saman because those movies got much publicity and they sold me," he said.

His outburst followed a question about which among the movies he has acted is best to him.
Kwaku Manu is one of the finest comedians on the screens of most Ghanaians. He has since his appearance in the movie industry been consistent especially the Twi movies. His best pair in the movie roles is favourite Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah 'Lilwin'.
