The term "Bie Gya" was discovered by entertainment critic, Achipalago who is also a closed friend of Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale.
According to some reports, Criss Waddle foremost planned to release a song with the term but Shatta Wale was smart enough to release his version first.
Shatta Wale recently released a video for his version of "Bie Gya" and in the video, he wore a fake Adidas apparel.
