Singer to perform at George Weah’s inauguration in Liberia

Baroe has been selected to perform at the swearing-in of the President-elect George Weah and his Vice President-elect, Jewel Howard Taylor in Liberia.

The Delphy Music Production label signed songstress who has made impressive strides in her career thus far will join Liberia’s National Collective Mass Choir to perform the Liberian Anthem at the ceremony on Monday, in Monrovia at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sport Complex (SKD) in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.

Her manager Murphy Jr Abu told Pulse.com.gh that “This gig came up for her after she did the Liberia National Anthem-cover song which became a hit in and out of Liberia.”

Pulse.com.gh is also told that top Ghanaian celebrities including John Dumelo, Fred Nuamah, Van Vicker, Confidence Haugen, Akosua Puni and Jackie Appiah have flown to Liberia to witness the ceremony.

Baroe recently released the official trailer for her upcoming single, titled “Dream”.

“Dream” is a mid-tempo song that has been projected to be the DJs' favourite and will soon become a street anthem.
