Contemporary gospel artiste, Joe Mettle, is set to hold a concert dubbed 'Praiz Reloaded' scheduled for the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM), North Legon, on Sunday, June 28.The concert, which will feature other artistes such as Naa Mercy, Ps Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye Jnr, Amilcar Terdy Zaroe and Joycelyn Armah is expected to be a live recording of his new album, Encounter.According to the Male Vocalist of the Year, he had in the past recorded live recordings of his album and is familiar with that style even though it is not common in our part of the world.In an interview with Showbiz earlier this week, Joe Mettle said, “We are capturing the live atmosphere instead of going to the studio to record it. I feel better and it brings out the best in me when it is a live recording. This is how I have been recording my album all these years”.The 12-track album, Joe Mettle said, will be a life-changing gift for those who have lost hope in life and “revive the hope of the hopeless”.Some of the songs on the album are Oguan Hwefo pa, Mensro, All I Want is you, Ayeyi Nwom and Grace.Apart from the album recording, Joe Mettle and his God’s Gift Band will also thrill patrons to some spirit-filled praise songs as part of the annual Praize Reloaded concert which has become a very important event on the annual calendar of the Turning Around artiste.Started in 2012, the Praiz Reloaded concert has in the past years served a platform for many lovers of gospel music to enjoy an atmosphere of Praise and worship.The past years have had artistes such as Danny Nettey, Eugene Zutah, Francis Amoh and Cwesi Oteng on the platform.Real name, Joseph Oscar Mettle, Joe Mettle is a former member of legendary gospel music group, Soul Winners. He is known for songs such as S.W.A.G. Me Do Wo, and Turning Around.As a notable gospel music minister, he has shared the same stage with world renowned gospel artistes such as Don Moen, Israel Houghton, Micah Stampley and Alvin slaughter.He launched his first album, Sound of Praise, in 2012.
