Singer apologises for failing to perform in Berlin

The singer was scheduled to perform in Berlin, Germany but got there late and had to refund ticket money bought by fans because she couldn’t perform.

Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade is currently on European tour, which has seen her performing in Paris, Lyon, Switzerland, Frankfurt, Italy and others.

But on March 15, 2015, the singer was scheduled to perform in Berlin, Germany but got there late and had to refund ticket money bought by fans because she couldn’t perform.

According to Yemi, the organisers told her to arrive the venue at 2:00 but she did at 2:30 am. Unknown to her, the organisers had kept fans waiting since 10 pm. So, when she got there, several fans had left and those still at the venue had become violent and angry, so she couldn’t perform.

Yemi apologised to her fans in Dutch, which when translated to English means: ‘The show promoters told me to come at 2:00, but I came at 2:30 am. I didn’t know they have been waiting since 22:00. She said half the audience had left and some of the remaining were violent, so she took the microphone away from me, even when I insisted on performing at haus ungard. I’m so sorry, and I have the money refunded. Please go and collect your refund of the ticket purchased, lorenzo premier and Bella garcia ( promoters ) . I love you.’
