A Russian man who was unhappy about her wife changing her name

The man’s name has not been disclosed, but a video of him went viral on social media when was ordering a truck driver to fill the car while other people stood by taking videos with their phones.

Odditycentral.com reported that the woman legally changed her surname to that of a local supermarket, as part of a promotion, without asking her husband’s permission.

Reports say the Veniy (Loyal) supermarket chain was offering to pay 50,000 rubles ($880) a month to loyal customers willing to officially change their names to that of their brand, and the man’s wife decided to take advantage of the offer without first consulting with him.

While some people have expressed disgust about the man’s action urging the wife to sue him, others supported him.
