Woman caught on camera stealing ring on a corpse

CCTV footage has shown a woman stealing a ring from a corpse at aTexas funeral home.

The suspect who is yet to be identified is seen in the surveillance footage twisting the ring off the finger of an 88 year old Lois Hicks who laid in an open casket at the funeral home.

Daughter of the deceased Vel McKee told Odessa American news website that the ring on Lois’ finger symbolized her love for her spouse who died three years ago.

The theft occurred a day after Hick’s died.

“I can’t believe someone would be that low,” McKee said “It makes me sick to my stomach. Horrible. I hope they catch her.”
