Holly Willoughby and her co-host, Phillip Schofield had carried the huge snake on their shoulders while on set to spice up the show, but it ended in a disappointment.

The quick intervention by the snake’s handler helped avert what could have been a bigger embarrassment.

The 36-year-old presenter and her cohost were on set for a segment of “I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!” Which begun on Sunday night.

When Phillip was speaking to the audience, Holly was restless as the snake wrapped its tail around her left leg making its way into her skirt.

The problem however, was that the least mistake Holly would make by way of showing any sign of panic could change the mood of the snake and it could bite the two hosts.

All Holly could be heard saying was "I don't know what to do," and sensing danger, Philip also responded in an uneasy manner, saying "Just let it happen," adding that "You are affecting my end as well."

Philip and Holly heaved a sigh of relief when finally, with the help of the snake’s handler, the huge reptile was removed. They then tried to put themselves together as though it had not affect the show in anyway, but in fact it did.
