The accused is reported to have smashed the head of her husband with a chair after an altercation over GH¢2,000.
According to the prosecutor, Detective Chief Inspector Braima, Victoria and her husband had a daughter.
The Prosecutor narrated that Victoria had requested that her husband gave her a sum of GH¢2,000 during the Christmas period for shopping.
The request, which was made in December, was however turned down by her husband.
Chief Inspector Braima said the accused then went into the room of her husband and took GH¢2,000 from is bag without informing him.
The husband, upon realizing his money was missing, requested his wife returns it to him – something Victoria refused to do.
The matter escalated, leading to a scuffle between the two. In the process, Victoria hit her husband on the head with a chair, leading to his instant death.
Justice Joseph Mensah, who presided over the case at the Wassa Akropong Magistrate Court, asked that the accused be remanded in police custody.
The case was adjourned to 1st February, 2017.
