Easiest way to make parfait yourself

Parfait is a type of frozen dessert that is intensely appealing and it's a rave at the moment. The layered colours bursting from the glass it's usually served in makes it even more perfect, learn how to do it by yourself in easy steps.

 

Parfait is a type of frozen dessert common these days. It's usually made up (layered up) of healthy nuts, non-fat yoghurt and more but you can indulge with it to suit your taste.

Parfait is ever colourful and yummy, intensely appealing and it's a rave at the moment. The layered colours bursting from the glass it's usually served in makes it even more perfect.

If you've been wondering how to do it by yourself/in the comfort of your home, you can in these easy steps.

Ingredients:

-Cups of non-fat/Greek yoghurt (or sweetened if you have a 'sweet tooth)

-Fresh strawberries (preferably frozen)

-Fresh blue berries, blackberries/berries

-Cup of granola

-Cup of other preferred nuts

-...other preferred nuts and additions (to suit your taste)

How to:

-Layer a tall glass with yoghurt

-Add a layer of berries (combine all the different berries for a pop of colour)

-Layer a bit of yoghurt

-Add granola as another layer

-Layer yoghurt over the granola

-Add nuts (as preferred)

-Layer again with yoghurt

-Alternate between nuts and other things a you want added and your preferred yoghurt

-When done, arrange strawberries, nuts and more on top creatively for a burst of appealing colour.

-Serve parfait immediately to keep the nuts crunchy. (Parfait is best served with ingredients cold).

NOTE:You can go all out creative with your , adding banana blends or diced, smoothie and more fruits to suit your desired taste.
