A-Plus' comment on M.anifest's music career is just injudicious

His comment came after M.anifest's highly debatable performance at the just ended Ghana Meets Naija Concert held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

A-Plus

According to the ardent supporter of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), M.anifest's father, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata wasted his investment in the musician. He said he wouldn't be pursuing music if he had received the education M.anifest has.  Instead, he would be a C.E.O and employ hundreds.

A-Plus wrote (unedited): "I’ve seen so many posts where people are asking me to write good music so that I’ll be called to perform at Ghana meets Naija… this is funny. So wait ooo. You guys think that if my father is Tsatsu Tsikata and I was taken to some of the best school in the world I’ll be wearing #Kaba rapping arish rish rish rubbish by now? Like by now I’ll be some CEO or business executive who employs hundreds and do music on the flipside. herh are you guys serious to make it in life?"

To make matters short, I believe A-Plus' comment passed on M.anifest's music career was just injudicious and insulting. It's unfair for someone who has been in the music business for years to pass such comment.

Secondly, being successful in life isn't just about higher education. It's a matter of following your passion, being smart and visionary.

For instance, Michael W. Nicholson has 29 degrees -- making him the most credentialed person in modern history, but ask yourself if he has achieved what Kwame Despite has.

Even Kwame A-Plus himself has no higher education background but has been smart enough to make some cash out of his political career. He saw NPP's 2016 victory coming (even though he once bashed them) and joined their campaign to victory.

M.anifest, the winner of the "Rapper of the Year" award at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, followed his passion and is making it big. He refused to be a 'DADABEE' so it's only fair to support his music instead of passing such ridiculous comment about him.
