In a letter addressed to Big Events Ghana, the organisers of the award scheme, Arnold Baidoo cited an “increasing ‘workload’ from other equally important endeavours”  that wouldn't permit him to have the time and resources to handle his role as the Publicist for the scheme as the reason for his resignation.

Read his resignation letter below.

I wish to announce my resignation as the Public Relations Officer for the Radio & Television Personality Awards with immediate effect.

An increasing ‘workload’ from other equally important endeavors will not permit me to have the time and resources to handle my role as the Publicist for the scheme with the same zeal, commitment and dedication - as I did for the 2015 edition.

My profuse gratitude goes out to Big Events Ghana, organizers of the RTP Awards, for the opportunity and the experience.

My appreciation also goes out to all media stakeholders, radio and television personalities, fellow journalists/bloggers and the followers of the Scheme for their immense support, encouragement and varied critique.

I wish Big Events Ghana and the RTP Awards the very best in the organization of subsequent editions.
