Inflation for October 2015 remains unchanged

Though prices of some goods went slightly up, Dr Philomena Nyarko notes, they had little influence on inflation.

 

Inflation for the month of October remained 17.4 per cent just like in September, Dr. Philomena Nyarko has revealed.

Announcing the October rate on Wednesday, Dr Nyarko noted that the relative stability of the Cedi in the currency market also had an influence, especially on imported items.

The food and non food inflation recorded rates of 7.8 and    23, UP W recorded the highest inflation rates 18.6 above national and up e recorded lowest of 18
