Pastor condemns the use of Bible apps in church

An associate pastor of the Blessing Gate Chapel International in Sunyani, Pastor Boniface Boadi has stated that the use of bible applications should be discouraged.

According to him, the word of God on these devices are not powerful as to be compared to the original bible or the hard copy one.

The Man of God made this known at a Good Friday service.

Pastor Boadi noted that using phone as a bible during church service may not be a sin; but it could be a source of distraction, because calls, texts , chats could make one lose focus in the process of the Church service.

"The original Bible is the recommendable Bible for every believer as it stands for the cross, and contains the power and anointing of Jesus Christ," he said.

Pastor Boadi added that the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary brought redemption to humanity, and therefore called on Christians to reflect and examine their lives.

"Any church which does not believe in the death of Jesus Christ is not founded on good biblical doctrines," he said.
