Breakfast is essentially you breaking the eight-hour fast you have during your sleep.

 So, it is important to fill your stomach with something delicious but nutritious to start the day with.

Experts say eating breakfast has a great impact in many areas.

1.Improves Focus

Eating breakfast high in complex carbohydrates can help improve your alertness and focus for the rest of the day. This can be especially helpful if you are one to fall into the afternoon slump, as complex carbohydrates keep you satiated and energised.

2. Prevents overfeeding

Eating a high protein breakfast helps you to eat fewer calories throughout the day. People who love to eat heavy meals like banku and other heavy foods for breakfast escape being overweight. Eating breakfast also helps to regulate your sugar level.

3. It reduces your risk of cardiovascular diseases.

One study from Harvard University found that men who skipped breakfast had a 27 percent higher risk of heart disease than breakfast-eaters. These same men also tended to get famished at night, which also has an impact on heart health.

4. It is good for your health

Eating a healthy breakfast frequently is beneficial for your general well-being in several ways. Research has found that eating a healthy breakfast can decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes in women. It also reduces obesity. People who eat breakfast are more energetic and have a higher concentration.

5. It Improves your memory

Daily eating of breakfast improves your mental functions which includes your memory. According to a study by the American Dietetic Association, children who ate breakfast every day showed better memory, improved test scores and fewer absences.

Eating breakfast goes a long way in protecting you and making you a healthy person.
