The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo, has congratulated Togbe Afede XIV of the Asogli State on his successful election as President of the National House of Chiefs.

According to him, Togbe Afede XIV must bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duties to the House, and in the shaping of the national discourse.

In a statement, he said, Naa Professor John Nabila, is also to be commended for steering the affairs of the House successfully over the last 8 years.

This is to congratulate warmly Togbe Afede XIV, Paramount Chief of the Asogli State, on his election as the President of the National House of Chiefs, which took place on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

His predecessor, Naa Professor John Nabila, is also to be commended for steering the affairs of the House successfully over the last 8 years.
