Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah in trouble as Ofoase-Ayirebi heat up

Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah will face a stiff challenge from two strong aspirants in the NPP primaries.

As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares to elect its parliamentary candidate for the 2016 general elections,  three professionals aspiring legislators for the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency, have been praised for been tactful and intelligent by the committee which took them through vetting.

The three will face fierce competition in the primaries to replace the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. David Oppon-Kusi, who has decided to not seek re-election.

The aspirants are Wing Commander Bright Acquah Asamoah (retd), formerly of the Ghana Air Force base in Tamale; Mr John Obiri–Yeboah, an Accra-based freight forwarder; and Mr. Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, a renowned broadcast  journalist.

Each of the three aspirants, Mr. Oppong–Nkrumah, Wing Commander Asamoah and Mr. Obiri–Yeboah expressed optimism to emerge victorious to become the next legislator of the Constituency.
