Stop creating fake security crises - Nduom

Founder and leader of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has charged political parties to stop creating fear and panic through the creation of “artificial security crises.”

Dr. Nduom posted on his Facebook page that that those who are “fanning the flames of politically-induced conflict, tension and violence” must understand that “when the state becomes weakened, we go down, all of us.”

This comes on the back of allegations against the government that it was planning to raid the home of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo following a similar raid at the offices of the Danquah Institute by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).

The PPP flagbearer urged Ghanaians to “bury hate-filled politics, tribalism, and corruption; and cause a renewal of the Ghanaian spirit, a new birth of a nation endowed with tremendous natural resources.”

He stated that this Easter, citizens must all be awake and must also “allow the sun to throw light on what is good in all of us, what is positive in our nation and what will make Ghana, Great and Strong.”
