The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has sacked ten junior doctors for insubordination.

In a dismissal letter Wednesday and copied to the Dental and Medical Council, the Chief Executive of the Cape Coast Teaching hospital Dr. Daniel Asare said his outfit can no longer tolerate the disrespect of the young doctors especially, as the facility has fulfilled its part of the bargain.
The letter also requested the Ghana medical and dental council to, as a matter of urgency, replace the dismissed doctors with new ones.
The same was not done for those in Cape Coast compelling them to remain on strike. They have vowed to stay home until all their monies are paid.
