The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on November 26, 2015, summoned 14 Antoa chiefs to explain circumstances surrounding the theft of the ‘puduo’ deity, as well as expensive shrine regalia.

The chiefs were asked to produce Antoahene, Otipuduosuo Nana Kwame Owusu Agyemang, within the shortest possible time for questioning.

One of the 14 Antoa chiefs who were summoned by Asantehene was subsequently picked up by the police.

Antoa Nyamaa is a popular river deity with its shrine located at Antoa in the Ashanti Region in Ghana.
