President John Mahama will today, Tuesday April 12, be in the Eastern region with his ongoing ‘Accounting to the People tour’.
The tour comes ahead of the Presidential and parliamentary elections due November this year.
"Following on the heels of a very successful tour of the Western Region, President Mahama will pay courtesy calls on chiefs, interact with traders and residents of various communities and inspect ongoing projects;" the statement said.
The President will use the three days to interact with the chiefs and people of the region, including religious leaders, students, workers, and traders, the statement said.
President Mahama will also "use the opportunity to elicit feedback and inaugurate new projects including a ferry at Agordeke in the Afram Plains."
