The outspoken Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu, has promised the youth of the party that they will never be abandoned when the party wins power in 2016.
He made these remarks when he addressed constituency executives and some identifiable groups within the party at Bole in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency of the Northern Region, where he had gone to interact with them as part of strategies towards the 2016 elections.
He urged the rank and file of the party to strengthen the unity that existed among them to enable the party recapture power in the 2016 general elections.
He said unity was paramount for the greater good of the party since Ghanaians were looking forward to the NPP as the only option to rescue them from the economic tremor and administrative incompetence the country was going through under the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Naabu was convinced that the NPP will win the upcoming general elections to salvage Ghanaians from the current economic hardships, if the executives and supporters of the party remained united.
The Northern Regional NPP chair urged all aggrieved members, including aspirants who lost their bid in the recent parliamentary primaries of the party, to bury their differences and fight for the common interest of the party.
