Leicester City pave way for Jeffery Schlupp to leave

The coach of Leicester City has stated that any player who is not happy at Leicester City can leave in January.

The Ghana defender has been struggling to break into the Leicester City starting line-up, after he returned from injury and coupled with interest from several clubs like Wes Bromwich Albion, he is likely to take advantage of that a move on in January.

Jeffery Schlupp failed to join Wes Brom, after they tabled down a £10m bid in the summer but the Baggies have retained their interest in the Black Stars defender, who usually plays as a winger at Leicester City.

Ranieri said: 'I don't like to maintain players who are unhappy.

'But of course, this is my point of view – afterwards, there is the club.

'If someone goes, we can get rid of him easily but it will cost a lot of money to replace him with someone else who we have to replace them with.

'That is the balance we have to achieve. I want to help those players but at the end of the month, they take the money.'They are professionals and it's a business.

'here are rumours but everyone knows very well who is happy, who wants to stay with us.'If anyone wants to stay and fight with us, it's OK. If someone is not happy, they should come to us and we will speak about what is best for the club, and for them.'
