Amartey and Schlupp's Leicester City win BBC Team of the Year

The Foxes were named the best team of the year 2016 for winning the English Premier League.

Daniel Amartey and Jeffery Schlupps Leicester City were adjudged the BBC Team of 2016, following an incredible season.

Leicester City enjoyed a fairytale as they beat them all to clinch the Premier League in a season that almost all the bookmakers  would get it wrong to predict the outcome of the league.

Amartey who joined the team in January played four games, while Schlupp featured in 17 games in the season.

However, the topmost individual honours, which is the BBC Sports Personality of the Year went to the world number one tennis player, Andy Murray for a record third consecutive year.
