The sad life of Manchester United fan who hates President John Mahama

For a Manchester United fan who hates His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, JM Toaso has two meanings and one is absolutely disgusting.

The many fans of the force knew it was never going to be a forever after. But they also clinched the tiny belief that maybe, just maybe it could have ended a little bit latter rather than how soon it concluded.

After years of torture, trials and enormous heart breaking errors, one who is deemed special was ushered into the ridiculously hard task of leading the red nation to the promise land. The fact that his specialization had failed to yield results upon his second coming at an empire he once built with his own special traits had been ignored.

Desperate circumstances needed desperate measures and there was not a desperate way to show how desperate the red nation needed to get back on track than to pick a desperate man who thought his long-time foe could be a motivation to stabilize his dwindling reputation.

This is a story about Jose Mourinho’s appointment as Manchester United’s manager, clarification for the gibberishly-challenged.

Jose Mourinho has lost three consecutive games in one week at Manchester United and although the glass around the panic button has not yet been cracked, it might as well be, considering the pressure on the Portuguese.

It started off against a coach if not for pride and the trolling that might come with it, Jose Mourinho would have called mean on every available platform.

Let’s face it, Pep Guadiola is mean when it comes to his statistics against Jose Mourinho.

So when his Manchester City team whipped their bitterest rivals Manchester United on their own turf 2-1 last Saturday, Jose might have breathed a sigh of relief on that scoreline with respect to what happened in his first La Liga game against the Spaniard when the stakes were that high.

For those of you who need reminding, it was five goals without reply for Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona against Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid.

So you see, Pep Guardiola is mean when it comes to Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United’s defeat against Manchester City was compounded in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday in their away game Feyenoord. Mourinho and his team lost. Two defeats in one week.

Going into their Premier League game against Watford on Sunday, all the talk was about how a wounded lion would destroy a team whose last win against Manchester United came when captain Wayne Rooney was like three weeks old.

Again, a bit of clarification here. All those talks were on Manchester United platforms and social media pages. The great association of Against Supporters Union (ASU) still had their unshaking love for a Manchester United defeat to make it three out of three in one week.

ASU’s wish did come to pass. Manchester United were beaten and battered in Watfordland.

Finally, it was three defeats in three games for Jose Mourinho after the international break.

This horrible feat triggered the emergence and re-dimensioning of tagline very popular on social media:

JM TOASO!

Now the origin of this tagline comes from the president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

With the upcoming election in December 2016, President Mahama is telling the people of Ghana about the good works he has done to deserve another chance to continue in making Ghana an utterly comfortable haven. *Sips sobolo*

So JM Toaso simply means, John Mahama, continue.

Ironically, Jose Mourinho also has the same initials as John Mahama.

All that the ‘JM Toase’ tagline that emerged after Manchester United’s defeat to Watford is trying to say is, despite Jose Mourinho’s poor run of form in the week under consideration, they want him to stay. ‘They’ as in those who are benefitting from Jose Mourinho’s failure. Certainly not Red Devils.

So imagine a Manchester United fan who hates President Mahama seeing these ‘JM Toaso’ taglines been thrown around.

For this person, Jose Mourinho has not quite been tested at Manchester United and would love for him to be given every bit of chance as the season progresses. So in that respect, ‘JM Toaso’ is a good tagline.

However on the part of President Mahama, this same person will be absolutely disgusted at the thought of ‘JM Toaso’ since his whole tenure at office has been in total shambles like Jose Mouriho’s last week at Manchester United. Same ‘JM Toaso’ but not a fan this time round.
