Pius Hadzide states that no bonus has been increased for the team

The Deputy Minister reiterates that the Black Starlets will maintain the winning bonus the side received at the African Youth Championship for the U-17 World cup in India

Pius Hadzide did confirm this to the media when he led the team and its technical handlers to a dinner organized by the Indian High Commission in Ghana.

Honourable Hadzide was very clear when he was speaking to Graphic Sports saying:

"We are going to maintain the reviewed bonus structure that the ministry announced when they played in Gabon and we are up to date with the payment of their allowances as a government and we shall ensure that it continues like that.

"These are qualification bonuses but we hope that they win all their matches because the government has prepared some surprise packages for them aside the bonus"

The winning bonus for every game prior to the U-17 African Championship this year in Gabon was slashed from $3000 to $1000.

The Honourable with this brief message did imply that the bonus structure is to therefore remain the same as this despite the fact that they are heading out to the World Stage.

The Black Starlets go to India and will start their journey against Colombia on the 6th of October 2017.

The side will face USA and India in their subsequent group games on the 9th and the 12th of September 2017.
