Konadu was tasked with securing Ghana’s qualification for the 2018 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament, however, the coach could do very little as the Black Stars B team fell to a 4-3 aggregate loss to Burkina Faso in Kumasi on Sunday.

The team’s failure to make it to the tournament – despite entering the second leg with the advantage of a 2-2 away draw in Ouagadougou – has led to criticisms coming the way of Konadu, with many calling into question his technical knowhow.

Latest to add his voice is coach Nana Agyemang, who believes Konadu has an ‘empty technical mind’, while encouraging him to take up a coaching course to upgrade himself in the job.

In a Twitter post, the Tv pundit cum coach wrote: “Don't quit I agree! But the only way to change the blank look on your face & empty technical mind; take the UEFA Licensed Coaching Course.”

Konadu has come under intense pressure to resign following Ghana’s failed bid to qualify for the CHAN tournament, however, he insists he will “not quit”.
