George Weah’s wife named CAF Ambassador for Women’s Football
First Lady of Liberia Clar Weah has been named Ambassador for Women’s Football. The announcement came at the symposium for African Women’s football in Morocco.

Speaking in Marrakech, the CAF President Ahmad Ahmad announced that Clar Weah will have the task of promoting Women’s football around the globe.
Mrs Weah was overwhelmed with ecstasy upon hearing the affirmation
"This is unbelievable. I have attended this symposium for two days and now I am to champion the Women's Football cause out there.
"It is a task that I am ready to do because I know the importance of football right from what it did for my husband and now my family."
George Weah stands as the only African to be crowned African, European and World Best player of the Year in 1995.
He played in clubs like AS Monaco Paris Saint Germain AC Milan,Chelsea.
