Zamalek fined $30,000 for failing to meet deadline for Agogo’s payment

The Egyptian giants have been slapped a fine of $30,000 for failing to pay the $450,000 unpaid wages of Junior Agogo.

The five times champions of Africa were given an ultimatum of last week Thursday to settle the unpaid wages of the for Ghana international, yet they turned a deaf ear.

That was about the third time Zamalek failed to meet the deadline to clear the unpaid wages of Junior Agogo and the world football governing who are getting impatience with the conduct of Cairo based club has reacted by slapping them with a fine $30,000.

The Ghanaian joined Zamalek from English side Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2008 but terminated his contract with the Whites just nine months after joining them due to unpaid dues.

Agogo only featured on 11 occasions, scoring just three goals for the team.
