WAFA coach backs Aduana to win second league title

WAFA coach Rasmunssen has stated Aduana Stars are charging for the league whereas he is building a new team and wants to avoid relegation.

The Head Coach of 2nd placed side in the Ghana Premier League, West African Football Academy Klavs Rasmunssen gave reverence to Aduana Stars as upcoming champions after his side lost to league leaders Aduana Stars by 1-0.

Speaking to the media after the game, he first did say he was happy with his side’s performance.

“I’m very positive about this loss. We could not score but I am very happy about it. This are the upcoming champions and we are building a new team so I’m certainly happy about it."

Coach Rasmunssen also projected the target of the team which was to attain 50 points at the end of the season.

“Our target is to get 50 points and stay in the league. You can see how many we have lost.”

The coach of Aduana also admitted that his opponents were of quality.

“We played injured players form the Black Stars team B and they have some quality in the team. The game my team played was satisfying”

WAFA are set to play Aduana Stars, Dwarfs and Medeama SC in their last three games.
