Coach Kobina Amissah is optimistic Elmina Sharks will excel in their debut Ghana Premier League campaign

The Elmina based club owned by renowned politician Papa Kwesi Nduom, sealed their Premier League qualification after topping Zone II.

And ahead of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League they have made some marque signings which include former Ashanti Gold middleman Anthony Yerful and former Liberty Professionals workaholic midfielder Ebo Mends.

''I've absolute confidence and trust in my boys come next season. We're very certain of achieving our aim in our debut league season.'' told Kumasi-based Fox FM.

People have been talking about our players that they will struggle in their debut season as they will be lacking the needed experience to compete in the premiership, but I can tell you that such notions can’t hold as we equally have good and experienced players who can also compete very well for us. We'll not say much as the time will come in due course,'' he added.
