Kwaso wins maiden Nyantakyi Easter Challenge Cup

Kwaso emerged the winners of the first ever Nyantakyi Easter Challenge Cup over the weekend in the Ashanti region

The competition which which was held in the Ejisu Munipality saw towns like Fumesua,Ejisu, Baworo and Kwaso showcasing great good football skills to climax the Easter festivity.

The final pitched Ejisu against Kwaso and after a thrilling 90 minutes the game ended 1-1, but the latter won 4-2 via penalty shootout to hand them the maiden trophy.

In all eight communities took part of the Easter Challenge Cup and Nyantakyi who was the brain behind the competition would have been pleaed to see his paternal hometown win the maiden one.

Kwesi Nyantakyi who is the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and a member of the FIFA Council was excited with the skills displayed by the young talented footballers and advised them to be disciplined in life and stay focused on whatever they choose to do in life.

He assured them of his support to help them to realise their dreams.
