Ghanaian scores as Aston Villa are stunned with late Watford comeback

Jordan Ayew continues to make his point why he needs to stay in the English Premier League despite his Aston Villa team having been relegated

The Ghanaian player who had a slow start to football life in England has risen to become one of the brightest stars in Aston Villa’s dark clouds this season.

On Saturday in the Premier League, Jordan Ayew was on target as his Aston Villa team were stunned away at Watford with two late goals from Troy Deeney.

Ciaran Clark opened the scoring for Aston Villa after 28 minutes of play with Almen Abdi equalizing for home team Watford on the stoke of half time.

Jordan Ayew scored three minutes after the break to restore Aston Villa’s lead and put them 2-1 up.

An impressive comeback from Watford however left Aston Villa who have already been relegated with zero points from the game.

Troy Deeney scored two late goals in additional minutes to secure a 3-2 victory for Watford in the game.

Ghanaian player Jordan Ayew played 79 minutes of the game before being replaced by Carlos Sanchez.
