Game three of the American League Division Series (ALDS) between the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians has been postponed on Sunday.

Persistent rain and a forecast of further inclement weather resulted in the match at Fenway Park being postponed until Monday.

The Red Sox trail 2-0 in the best-of-five series and are on the brink of elimination, with the fourth game set to take place on Tuesday if required.
