Asamoah Gyan scored before he was substituted in the second half by coach James Kwesi Appiah when Ghana defeated Ethiopia 5-0 on Sunday.

However, Andre Ayew his deputy was handed a new arms band instead of his. An incident the coach explained that the arms band Gyan used was a customized one and that called for a new one for the West Ham United attacker.

Several Ghanaians have been critical on Gyan and that has made many people to believe there is a bad blood between the skipper and his deputy over captaincy issue as perceived.
