A veteran Ghanaian actor, Prince Yawson popularly referred to as Waakye has denied media reports that he has been rendered impotent after he fell sick for some time.
In an interview with Accra-based Adom FM, he said his manhood is working perfectly. He indicated that he still experiences the early morning erection which every man is familiar with.
“I’m sure those who reported the story misquoted me; my manhood has not collapsed. I heard reports about it and chose not to react because I’m now a new person. My manhood is working perfectly and all those stories about it are lies.”

Waakye fell ill and was hospitalized for some days. Later news went viral that the actor had become impotent because doctors had cautioned him to abstain from sexual intercourse for a brief period to enable him to recover from a heart attack he suffered.
However, Waakye said though he fell sick, doctors never advised him to abstain from sex.

Waakye who shot into fame during the popular TV Drama series, “Obra” and later starred in movies like ‘Ogboo’ ‘Man Woman’ etc, advised the media to be circumspect in their reportage.
The actor is currently divorced with two children
