The ace Ghanaian broadcaster who works with the Multi-Media Group, during Hitz FM’s morning show, boldly expressed his dissatisfaction at how award schemes are poorly organized in a manner that does not celebrate talents who deserved to be recognized.

Captain Smart argued that the likes of the late Kofi B, who some musicians from Nigeria can not be compared to, haven’t received the recognition they deserve. He said, “the way we try to make nonsense of quality musicians that we have in this country … the award is organized like we are building a KVIP”.

The radio presenter’s comment immediately sparked a hot debate in the studio as Andy Dosty, host of the "Day Break Hitz" show, disagreed with him. Andy argued that award organizers are doing well and deserve praise. “Award organizers are doing well, in fact, they are doing well let’s give them credit ... you have to retract your comment”.

Andy continued that “why haven’t you organized one yourself, don’t come here and be running down award organizers”. The pair's disagreement turned into a hot debate in the studio. Watch it below.
