There have been speculations that Miley Cyrus has been working on an album, but no one expected it this soon, or even as a surprise.
Miley announced after the hosting the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards that she was releasing a surprise album as Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz for free, just after performing some songs off the album which she closed the show with.
She performed the first song "Dooo it!", the first of 23 tracks on the album.
The album also features 2015 VMA winner Big Sean, Ariel Pink and Sarah Barthel of Phantogram.
