Joe Johnson produced a Herculean performance to win the World Snooker Championship 30 years ago but it was superhero He-Man who appeared on screen when he sat down to watch a replay of his exploits.
Outsider Johnson stunned the legendary Steve Davis to be crowned champion in 1986 with a sensational 18-12 victory at The Crucible.
The Englishman had a shock of his own when he came to watch his finest hour with his family years later, though, as his son had taped over the famous match.
Johnson said: "It was for my eldest daughter. It was years after I'd won, I'd never thought to watch it back but her and her boyfriend wanted to see it so I said I'd find the tape.
"The tape goes in and we are all sat around. We could watch the last couple of frames and the presentation, do it as a family, you know? Quite nice.
"Then on it comes, He-Man: Masters of the Universe. Where's my snooker?
"Wind on, it’s still not there. It's gone. One of the boys had taped over the whole thing. Thanks, boys."
