Juventus unwilling to sell Ghana midfielder

Massimiliano Allegri is unwilling to lose Chelsea linked midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah this summer, and has asked Juventus to hold on to the player. The 27-year-old midfielder joined the Italian champions from Udinese in 2012, and has been an important part of the squad during the club’s dominance of Serie A.Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who signed Asamoah for Juventus, is a big fan of the player and it has been claimed that he wants to take the midfielder to Stamford Bridge this summer.However, Juventus boss Allegri is in no mood to sell the player and according to Tuttosport, he has informed the club hierarchy about his wish to hold on to the 27-year-old in the coming months. Injuries curtailed his chances last season and he made just 13 appearances for the club, but the Juventus manager still rates the midfielder as a key part of his squad.He has made 106 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining the club four years ago and has a contract until 2018 with Juventus.Asamoah is also an important player for Ghana and has earned 69 international caps for the African nation.
